I have rented cars with Enterprise a few times and they have been great. For example, I was at the airport in Orlando and they had just run out of the car that I booked online. The guy behind the counter said, “Don’t worry about it, I will give you an upgrade for free.” And he upgraded me from a Chevy Cruze to a Chevy Tahoe.
The Tahoe was a really nice car. It ran well and had plenty of room for our family of five. The seats were very comfortable and there was plenty of legroom in the backseat. We had no problems with it at all.
I’ve also rented cars from Hertz, Thrifty and Dollar, but none of them were as good as the Tahoe that Enterprise gave us. We paid $200 per week for a midsize car with Avis and got a Ford Fusion, which is not bad but definitely not as nice as the Tahoe.
I would recommend Enterprise because they have better cars than most other rental companies, especially if you are looking for something bigger than an economy car or compact SUV. They also have good deals on their website so it’s easy to find what you need without having to search around too much.
I was pleasantly surprised with the selection at the Enterprise Rent A Car location on the corner of State and Harrison in Chicago. I was quoted a very good rate. The car was a top of the line 4 door Mercedes. I have used Enterprise Rent A Car before and their cars are always in better shape than most other car rental companies.
