Most people take their cars in for regular service and oil changes, and this is a great way to keep your car in good shape and extend the life of your vehicle. Unfortunately, not everyone takes the extra step of having their car’s air conditioning serviced.

Your car’s air conditioning system can make all the difference between you having a comfortable ride home or being hot and uncomfortable at the end of a long day.

If you’re like most people, you probably drive home from work in a very hot car — one that’s overworked and not functioning as efficiently as it should be. When you get home, you start running the old AC vent while you do your homework or catch up on some TV before bed. If only your heating system worked as well as your AC!

Luckily, Walmart offers a service that can keep your A/C running properly so that it doesn’t shut off at the end of an uncomfortably warm day. You don’t need to call a repair shop every time the AC starts blowing a breeze through the vents. Walmart will come to your house and fix it right there, so you don’t have to wait weeks for an appointment.

How Big Is Walmart Auto Care?

Walmart currently has over 4,000 automotive service centers nationwide.

If you are in the market for a new set of tires, you can use Walmart’s Tire Finder tool. Simply select your vehicle’s year, make, model, and tire size and you will be provided with a list of matching tires from Walmart and other top brand name manufacturers (like Goodyear, Michelin, Cooper, etc.).

If your car needs repairs or maintenance, Walmart is your one-stop shop for auto services like oil changes as well as state inspections and emissions testing in most locations.

Although Walmart does not offer any in-house financing options to cover the cost of auto services or repairs, most stores do accept major credit cards like Visa and Master card. Additionally, some stores will accept debit card payments if they have a PIN pad connected to the credit card terminal.

Is Walmart Auto Care a Good Place To Work?

Walmart Auto Care Center is a good place to work for part time if you are a retired person and need some extra income. You can also be a full time employee if you wish. The management team is professional, responsible and helpful to their employees. The pay rate is competitive in the industry and Walmart offers great benefits as well as many different opportunities within the company that you may be interested in.

The only downside to working at Walmart Auto Care Center is the work schedule. It can be very inconsistent and you will probably not get any days off from work during this time of the year because it is so busy. I have been told by many people that they have worked for Walmart Auto Care Center for over 20 years and never had one day off from work.

The other thing that I don’t like about Walmart Auto Care Center is the hours that they are open. They are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week which means that you will probably not get any holidays off from work during this time of the year.

Overall, I would say that working at Walmart Auto Care Center is a great job for anyone who needs an extra income or wants to supplement their current income with something more stable than minimum wage jobs such as food service or retail positions.
